As a startup business in 1992, Country Fresh Herbs began pioneering hydroponic techniques growing culinary herbs, lettuces and strawberries. This began a process of innovation Since then the farm has continued to innovate with the introduction of germination hotrooms using LED grow lights. This encourages and assists early growth of our seedlings given we are located in a cooler climate. We have also introduced a table design which has received international attention. It optimises the natural elements for growing the herbs. Ensuring we are contemporary in our techniques and work practices, we have attended numerous conferences and are members of the Hydroponic Farmers Federation Inc. industry network.We continue to innovate at the herb farm investigating ways to adapt the farm to meet future food security and demand for high-quality fresh produce.
